Portfolio > Still Life

Not long after I painted the vegetable series, I was asked to display paintings in the shoppers' lounge of a major department store. Not only did it contain the restroom doors, but there was a large cigarette machine to contend with. So I decided to make a smoking/aesthetic statement, by collecting tossed wrappers from the parking lot near my studio and, again, dumping them on my table. Who now even remembers half these brands?
